You may choose to share or sync your contacts with E1, including contacts’ names, email addresses, physical addresses, phone numbers, or other information included with your contacts. You may also manually enter the contact information of your neighbors or other individuals you want to invite to join E1. We use the contacts you provide to help you easily share the app and invite neighbors to join you on E1.

1.5 Information you share about yourself:
You may share information about yourself in your profile, including name, a profile photo, phone number, home address(es), email address, medical information (date of birth, current medications, allergies, advanced directive documents).You may send group messages on E1.

2.1 Communication and Alerts:
We use your provided information to enable communication and alerts within the app. This includes sending messages, notifications, emergency alerts to you and your neighbors, information you share (profile photo, phone number, address), and sharing medical information with your selected group in times of emergency in order to relay that information to first responders.

2.2 Community Building:
E1 uses location data (only with your explicit consent) to help you connect with neighbors in your vicinity, form groups, and build a sense of safety in your community.

2.3 Improvement of Services:
We may use your information to analyze user behavior, enhance the app's functionality, and improve our services.

2.4 Legal Compliance:
We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to a legal request.

2.5 Integration with Alexa Skills:
We use Alexa Skills to enhance the functionality of the E1 application. By linking your Alexa device to the E1 app, you authorize the app to send and receive notifications, trigger alerts, and execute commands through Alexa. Data shared with Alexa will include only the information necessary to enable this functionality, such as alert preferences and notifications. We do not store or process sensitive personal information beyond what is required for the app's integration with Alexa. All interactions with Alexa are processed through Amazon's systems, and as such, are subject to Amazon’s privacy policies.
